Description
This is a charcoal drawing of a dress shirt on a hanger. Still using the fancy paper that loves charcoal so much it fights erasers for every atom it can absorb into its flawlessly smooth surface, which is surprisingly a lot. Greedy paper.
Day 3 of Drawing I, part 2.
My underachievement has reached new levels… I just drew the shoulder. But in my defense, I really did only have about 20 minutes of class time left and I needed to finish a second portrait. The color is really the only part I had enough time to shade properly, anyway.
Now, this one looks like it’s on a hanger as it appropriately should be. No invisible person inside this shirt. That button still makes me uncomfortable, though. Just not as much as the buttons in the first one did because this shirt has a lot less detail on it… because I literally just scribbled in some shading before I had to pack everything up and dart out of the classroom. My teacher said the scribbly shading gave it a fabric-like texture, so… I guess he thought it was a stylistic choice. Sure. We’ll go with that. XD
If you’re wondering about the title I chose for this piece and/or if you want to see more, go to the gallery folder I dumped these in: wolfiegrrrl.deviantart.com/gal…
There’s an explanation for the titles, I promise.
Yes, it’s a series. Here’s the previous one: wolfiegrrrl.deviantart.com/art…
And here’s the next drawing: wolfiegrrrl.deviantart.com/art…
1 through 14 are all so drab. After that, it gets better.
